Medici™ Interactive is built on an equally prestigious pedigree partner, David Fugère-Lamarre of iLLOGIKA Studios in Montréal, whose studio has delivered AAA Video Games and Interactive Experiences development for some of the best creators in the world. Medici™  Interactive harnesses their custom software and game engine expertise for interactive, realtime visual and gamified experiences. 

Medici™ Machines leans on founder Chuck Fawcett’s fastidious attention to detail and creativity as well as his teams’ accomplishments in show control and precision mechanical animation previously at Animax Designs. Machines produces exciting new rides (patents pending) that leverage the Medici™ portfolio and create a powerful merger of visual and original physical ride sensations.

Our Story

Medici™ XD was founded by themed entertainment industry visionaries Chuck Fawcett and Daren Ulmer. Chuck and Daren both created sought-after and award-winning design & production studios, Animax Designs and Mousetrappe Studio (respectively). Having participated in projects wherein multiple vendors and disciplines were asked to combine to create complex and multi-faceted attractions and shows, our founders created Medici™ to more efficiently and effectively provide holistic immersive experiences wherein no key component is lacking in execution and integration. 

We are inspired by the 15th-century masters of Florence, the Medici family. Their patronage of the arts and sciences fostered the conditions for an explosion of creativity and leaps of discovery and knowledge. Our aim is that of the ‘Medici effect’, the cross-pollination of thinking by bringing together the best in their fields into our house. Our vision is that our collaborative nature sparks a fusion of ideas that result in perfectly executed, innovative guest events, and believable moments that surprise and surpass expectations. Bright minds and fresh technology will create a renaissance of new solutions, which makes us the perfect partner to explore your ideas and deliver on excellence.
